CAA was on the way
This unfortunate man had a break down on Moore Ave. westbound just west of Bayview Ave. where the narrow one-way lanes are pretty but not very flexible. The TTC man got out and helped the driver push his car far enough towards the curb to permit the bus to inch by. It was a nice act of generosity on behalf of the TTC operator. It seemed to be spoiled by uncivil Toronto. A number of motorists disregarded a police car nearby and drove west down the eastbound lane causing near-collisions. Other deficient drivers went by screaming obscenities at the TTC. Monkey see bus, monkey shout filth. The good and bad of summer in the City.
