The Kiwanis Club of East York will mark its 75th anniversary September 21. with an evening that includes dinner, prizes, silent auction, live music and local dignitaries past and present. It’s at the The Birches (Latvian Canadian Centre) 4 Credit Union Dr. off Eglinton near Bermondsey Rd. It will have a 1940s theme to honour the founding of the Club in 1943. Reception at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $100 and are available on Eventbrite and by email eykiwanis75@gmail.com or by contacting any member of the Kiwanis Club of East York.
