The Leaside Property Owners Association has posted word on its website word that the developer RioCan has asked to meet with the LPOA board. This is in respect to plans for the enormous project RioCan has proposed to build at what is now Leaside Centre at the corner of Laird Dr. and Eglinton East (815 Eglinton). LPOA says it understands that RioCan is working on revised plans. “It’s a good sign!” says the post. “It appears that upping our game at the Local Planning Appeal Board (replacement for the OMB) and making sure the community is well aware of the concerns with the latest plans may be getting RioCan’s attention.”
ROBINSON TO ATTEND LPOA AGM DECEMBER 10
Also posted Friday at LPOA is a new date (December 10) for the organization’s Annual General Meeting at which time it is said Councillor Jaye Robinson will attend at the Lea Room at Leaside Arena. Time is 7 for 7.30 p.m.
