Keyless technology used to steal three Lexus cars in Leaside

A resident writes at Leaside Community that he witnessed the theft of a Lexus model SUV taken from  Airdrie Rd. and Rolph Rd. in recent hours. He says there were two other such thefts from the same driveway at Bessborough Ave. and  Sutherland Drive., The good part is that the writer saw a license plate and has given information to the police. These thefts  of expensive vehicles seems to rely on the electronic lifting of keyless entry technology, something that is done by thieves who are near enough to you while you open your car in their presence. Such a wonderful age we live in. The FB thread is very long and informative. There is no substitute for a locked garage.
