A man in his 20s who is said to have been “dashing” across McCowan Rd. about 1.30 a.m. Tuesday has suffered a broken leg after being struck by a hit and run vehicle. The man had apparently been at a bank ATM near Lawrence Ave. The victim’s brother says the car was possibly a dark-coloured Mercedes. Police searched the street but found no debris left behind and can’t guarantee the description of the car is accurate since there are no cameras or other witnesses.
