Nov 19th – Headlights of bumper to bumper traffic on Moore heading to Millwood. The shot looks west at Southlea
The closure of the southbound lanes of Millwood Rd. at the railway underpass at Redway Rd. resulted in bumper-to-bumper traffic along Moore Ave. and Southvale Dr. from Bayview Ave to Millwood Rd. during the Monday drive home. The Millwood access to Thorncliffe Park and East York is closed at the railway underpass perhaps until Tuesday night because of a watermain break early Monday. Traffic on all side steets in south Leaside was heavy as drivers tried to find alternatives. Many it seems did not know of the closure. Northbound Millwood into Leaside remains open. Earlier post.
