Reuters reports Tuesday that Amazon.com Inc has announced the creation of 600 new technology jobs in downtown Toronto to be located in a 113,000 square foot office in Scotia Plaza on King St. Currently, Amazon has more than 800 corporate employees in Toronto. Shortly after, Premier Ford’s office released word of a news conference at 11 a.m. at Scotia Plaza, 40 King St. West.
