The evening raised $7,500, a sum that ensures the The Neighborhood Organization can help as many as six Thorncliffe Park women learn about and establish a business, develop better sewing skills and provide supplies needed to run their businesses independently. Well done all. At right, a reminder of that epic local tradition known as the Leaside Selection Invitational Tournament. It is a thrilling time for hundreds of kids and great fun to watch. Drop in over the weekend, grab a bite to eat from Andy Elder’s concession in the William Room and watch the action.
