Traffic at Scotiabank Arena for Sunday hockey, basketball

Toronto Police have issued a public notice Saturday about events at Scotiabank Arena Sunday. Traffic will be further restricted and security enhanced for the 3 p.m. playoff Game Six between the Leafs and Bruins. At 7 p.m. a tailgate party will begin in Jurassic Park outside the arena in advance of the Raptors and Orlando Magic game. Road closures and restrictions will begin at noon and remain in effect until approximately 11 p.m.:

York Street closed between Lake Shore Boulevard and Front Street
Bremner Boulevard closed east of Grand Trunk Crescent
Area for accessibility pick-up and drop-off on Bay Street near Gate 1
Area for accessibility for residents/business located on York Street north of Lake Shore Boulevard

Area residents and businesses have been provided security passes. Police, in partnership with the Scotiabank Arena, as well as the City of Toronto are encouraging people to use public transit or other carpool options.
