City ticketing convulsion on Randolph Rd. a FB discussion

Residents of Randolph Rd. are living through a 3-hour limit ticketing convulsion by police. The rationale of how police respond to the bylaw has been carefully thought through by this man: “If there are no signs on that part of Randolph and it’s a ticket for parking beyond three hours, the tickets are a result of a resident of that same block calling with a complaint. It can be a call about a single car but (the) parking authority then requires themselves to ticket all cars on that same block but no further. It’s a ridiculous City “policy” that they can’t ever seem to show you when you request it from one of their supervisors. In fact, it’s a practice that they pretend is a policy but sometimes say it is a bylaw. It’s not. The three-hour limit is in bylaw but the practice, described above, isn’t anywhere to be found.”
