Fans fill McSorley’s for European Champions football match

Left, fans filled Bayview Ave. bars including McSorley’s Saturday to watch the European Champions League game between Liverpool and Tottenham. As Jacob Bogage of the Washington Post writes, none of it was pretty but Liverpool won’t care. Liverpool 2, Tottenham 0. But upper right, there were other things to do as we see children watch the inflation of a bouncy castle in Father Caufield Parkette on Cameron Crescent. Time for the annual street party, which, as our archives reveal, is always fun. Below that, some stunning children’s art is displayed on a fence at Blake Street Public School at 21 Boultbee Ave. Take a look at these wonderful depictions all of them signed at the bottom by the artist. Below this text are posters for events not to be missed. Jurassic Park North will permit socializing and group viewing of the Raptors-Warriors Game 2 from in and (we believe) near the Amsterdam Barrell House Sunday evening. Sunday afternoon will see the Cycle Toronto Don Valley Midtown gang push off from the corner of Rykert Cres and Broadway Ave. for a ride in Serena Gundy Park. Nice.
