Video shows hit-and-run coyote attack on girl, 2, in Aurora

York Region Media Group (Torstar Corp.) has posted a video of a hit-and-run attack by a coyote on a girl, 2, as she runs into the backyard of her home with an older sibling. The girl’s mother told police she and her husband along with their toddler daughter and son, 5, walked home on Sunday just before 9 p.m. after eating dinner nearby. The kids ran to their backyard to check on a tree they had planted there recently. The girl suffered a scratched neck. It is a lesson that coyotes will attack small children even though they most often avoid adults, especially those who appear belligerent, i.e. shouting, etc.
