Man hunted in Deer Park coffee shop theft at Yonge/St Clair

Photos associated with this post have been removed because the principal suspect has now been identified and found to be underage. Security photos of a young man wanted for an attack on a woman in a coffee shop at Yonge and St. Clair in March have been released by police. His apparent purpose was to steal the woman’s jacket containing, as it turns out, bank cards that were used at a convenience store shortly after at Deer Park Rd. and  St. Clair West. That’s a mere block away from the scene of the crime. He is described as 18 to 20 years, short brown hair, clean shaven, wearing a shiny black jacket, black zipper sweater, dark blue jeans noticeably rolled up at the bottom, and black skater type shoes.

TWO PERSONS-OF-INTEREST

Also released are photos of two persons-of-interest in the same crime. At left below is a woman who ran out of the coffee shop at the same time as the perpetrator. He fled north and she ran south on Yonge. The man at the right below is said to be about 50 and is seen accompanying the young man at the convenience store where the bank cards were used.
