Parking bylaws, Labour Parade details for holiday Monday

Police will not be enforcing on-street parking bylaws during the Labour Day public holiday on Monday as noted.

• Posted signs indicating Monday-to-Friday regulations

Also, Monday, the Annual Toronto and York Region Labour Council Labour Day Parade will take place. Road closures will begin around the formation area for the parade starting at 7 a.m. The parade will form at University Ave. between Queen St West and Armoury St.

Parade Route:

– Departs from University Avenue and Queen Street West
– Southbound on University Avenue
– Westbound on Queen Street West
– Southbound on Dufferin Street
– Dispersal Area: Exhibition Place Grounds Canadian National Exhibition Entrance

Road Closures (Starting at 9 a.m.):

University Avenue from Richmond Street West to Dundas Street West
Armoury Street from University Avenue to Chestnut Street
Centre Avenue from Armoury Street to Dundas Street West
Queen Street West from Bay Street to Dufferin Street
Dufferin Street from Queen Street West to Exhibition Grounds
