It’s a new week but the old question hangs over the future of the Rexall Drugstore in Sunnybrook Plaza. An empty space around the corner at 1818 Bayview is still waiting (with no for lease sign) but there is little evidence of a move at hand. Some staff members say Rexall will return to Sunnybrook when it has been rebuilt into residential towers with stores below. Upper right, Mamma’s Pizza has closed at Sunnybrook and is set to open soon at 1627 Bayview.
