East side digging beside 1613 Bayview

Bayview was reduced Tuesday to a single lane of stop and go traffic opposite 1613 Bayview Ave., the former Tru Value Hardware store that is slated to become a restaurant. The cause was substantial work required to bring a restaurant volume gas line from the west side of the street to the east side. Heavy digging was going on beside both curbs and just where else it might go is unknown.
