The busy pedestrian corner of Bayview Ave and Manor Rd/Fleming Cres. is getting free-standing posts for the pedestrian prompt known to traffic wonks as beg buttons. The new posts show a trail of new concrete back to the utility pole on which the lights are mounted. What’s it all mean? The Bulldog is inquiring. Saturday morning pedestrians crossing Bayview had about half the time (20 seconds) to cross as those crossing Manor/Fleming (40 seconds). The last time this corner was in the news was January 2016.
