Two firemen hurt in fall from roof at Shuter and Jarvis fire

Two firefighters have been injured while attending a three-alarm fire in an old three-story building at Shuter and Jarvis Sts about 2 a.m. Saturday. One TFS man remains in hospital with critical injuries on Sunday. The fire broke out in a vacant, abandoned building and the cause remains undetermined at mid-morning. The men were injured when they fell from the top of the building. They were stabilized on scene by paramedics and taken to St. Michael’s Hospital down the street.
