A formal account of the accident in which a man tried to ride the bumper of a truck early Saturday has now been released by police. It was about 2:15 a.m. at O’Connor Dr. and Donlands Ave. The 22-year-old was with friends outside of a local business when he jumped onto the rear bumper of a white cube van that was stopped at a red light southbound on Donlands. As the van turned left onto O’Connor, the man fell off and sustained life-threatening injuries. The white cube van and driver have not yet been identified
Two men apparently stab each other to death in Mississauga
Two men have died in what appears to have been a knife fight in Mississauga early Saturday morning. Peel police say they were called to an apartment building at College Way and Glen Erin Rd just before 1 a.m. Police suggest that the two were fatally wounded by each other.
