Hundreds of subway passengers surged around Dundas West station Monday after a small fire broke out in the tunnel. A TTC spokesman said a wooden cover of some form came in contact with the live rail. He blamed a passenger for prying open car doors and permitting smoke to enter the train. Some passengers were led to safety through the tunnel after the power was cut. Commuter Tyler Patterson shot this video of the trek.
