She surrenders 97 cats on eviction from Guelph apartment

A woman has surrendered 97 cats she kept in a two-bedroom apartment on Huron St. in Guelph because she was being evicted from the unit. A report in Guelph Today indicates the landlord had acted because of the damage done to the plumbing system by kitty litter being poured down the drain. He told GT it would cost $20,000 to clean and make repairs to the apartment.
