Government and health officials announce first presumptive case of coronavirus in Toronto
A man in his 50s who travelled to Toronto from Wuhan, China earlier this week is now in isolation at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. As heard in this City News report, Dr. David Williams, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, says the case is considered “presumptive positive” until the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg finds the same positive results as the tests conducted in Toronto.
