A Washington State mother, Jennifer Haller, has been the first of four candidates injected with the experimental first-stage vaccine intended to stop COVID-19. The arm jabs administered Monday were made at Kaiser Permanente Washington Research Institute in Seattle. Work began barely two months ago to find a vaccine and now the world must begin the anxious wait to see the effectiveness of this first-stage vaccine.
