East York reporter Joanna Lavoie reports in the Toronto Star that North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will be conducting jet fighter exercises over Toronto Monday morning. According to Lavoie, the exercises will be performed at high altitudes but might also include some landing at local airports. Lavoie says the training exercise, which was developed in co-ordination with NAV Canada and is being conducted under Operation NOBLE EAGLE, which places emphasis on the surveillance and control of airspace over Canada and the United States, will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
