A man of 21 is dead and two others, a boy, 15, and a woman 27, were cut down in a savage ambush by gunmen on King St. West at Peter St. around 4.30 p.m. Tuesday. Early inaccuracies about the victims have been corrected by police but it is still not clear just who they were. The woman is said to be an unlucky pedestrian caught in the shooting. Both the injured are expected to recover. It’s clear to Chief Saunders, based on police probing so far, that the gunmen sat in a parked car for some 40 minutes before the victim arrived in another car. Then the killers unloosed a volley of as many as ten shots.
