Health Minister Christine Elliott says the Ministry has counted just 76 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24-hour period ending at midnight. That’s down from 111 reported Tuesday. This is the lowest day-over-day increase since March 22, Elliott said.
Today, we announced that Toronto and Peel regions will move into Stage 3 on Friday at 12:01 a.m. I’d also like to acknowledge the considerable and ongoing work by Windsor-Essex public health officials to contain the virus locally. You have our full support.

Ontario has 76 new COVID-19 cases, health minister says. That's the lowest daily total since March 22, and 1st time below 100 since March 24. National total is now 115,070, with 8,936 deaths. (Previous tweet that misstated total has been deleted). https://t.co/22XcdlRiS2
