Police arrest the last fugitive in 2018 playground shooting

The gang and gun squad of the Toronto police has arrested T’Quan Robertson for alleged crimes at the scene of the notorious shooting in the Alton Towers Circle Parkette playground in Scarborough in the summer of 2018. Two children were wounded during a gang-related murder attempt. Robertson has been the subject of a nation-wide warrant. Two other men were also arrested in connection with other crimes. No motive offered as masked gunmen shoot Pickering man

Durham Police are saying only that the shooting of a man, 37, outside a Pickering home Monday afternoon was not a random attack.¬† He is recovering at a trauma centre from serious injuries. Many will suspect gang gunplay as the GTA’s long hot summer continues. Four suspects escaped the scene on Woodview Drive. A surveillance video shows the shooting.
