The Ministry of Health has found 313 new C-19 cases Monday in the 24-hour period ending at midnight. It’s a considerable surge coming six weeks after Toronto and Peel Region entered Stage 3. Ontario has reported nearly 675 cases over the past 72 hours, including 204 on Sunday. The dilemma facing Queen’s Park is the threat to public health in the face of an economy in tatters. No easy answers.
Ontario is reporting 313 cases of #COVID19 as nearly 30,000 tests were completed. 78% of today's cases are from three regions, with 112 in Toronto, 71 in Peel and 60 in Ottawa. All other PHUs have fewer than 10 new cases, except for York with 13 cases. 15 PHUs have no new cases.
