New cases number 409 Thursday as second-wave rolls on

Ontario is reporting 409 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, an increase from the 335 cases that were confirmed on Wednesday. Toronto had 151, Peel 46 and Ottawa 82. One more person has died, raising the provincial death toll to 2,836. In a tweet, Health Minister Christine Elliott said 63 percent of Thursday’s cases are people under the age of 40.
