Second wave rolls over City, Leaside sees first cases in weeks

The Ministry of Health has reported 407 new cases of C-19 Saturday for the 24-hour period ending at midnight The second-wave toll of infection is creeping up. Friday’s total was 401 with 129 of them in Toronto. The number of cases discovered comes after a record 39,000 tests performed in a single day. The rolling seven-day average of new cases now stands at 312, up from 180 one week ago.

Leaside-Bennington sees first cases in weeks

It reveals a heavy density of infection in the high-rise community along the waterfront. There have been 68 cases in this area in less than three weeks.
