Seven people were treated Tuesday after a fierce fire ripped through the second floor of a home on Daslewood Drive in Malton. It appears that everyone survived. A spokesperson for Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services said when crews arrived at the scene, there was a “substantial amount of fire” and a “very distraught” person hanging out of a second-floor window.
