The Federal Government’s Bill C-10 contains language which will require Netflix and other streaming services to program in the interests of minority and indigenous communities.
The problem is that the new regulations will reduce investment and consumer choice, not guarantee it. Companies will delay projects or avoid the Cdn market for years given the uncertainty over what the CRTC counts as meeting regulatory requirements. 2/2 https://t.co/geDjWZP4XB
