Spouses and friends spread virus in City says MOH de Villa

Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health Eileen de Villa says statistics reveal that 21 percent of the City’s current C-19 patients say they caught the infection from a spouse. As many as 35 percent said they think they caught the virus from someone outside their household, possibly a co-worker or friend.

761 cases reported Tuesday

One in five admitted they had been part of a group of less than ten during the time they caught the virus.  Dr. de Villa called the current wave of infections an urgent warning for citizens. C-19 cases in Toronto leaped from 643 on Monday to 761 Tuesday. Please be careful.
