600,000 Ontario over-80s to get jab starting 3rd week Mar

Ontario will begin vaccinating some 600,000 citizens who are 80 and over in the third week of March, the government has announced. General Rick Hillier, the administrator of the vaccination program, announced that appointments will be taken for these vaccinations as of Monday, March 15. Hillier said the province expects to begin vaccinating those over the age of 75 starting on April 15 and people over 70 one month later. The target date for vaccinating people over the age of 65 is June 1, Hillier said. The news conference below was held Wednesday morning.
