Tam says Canada needs 75% vaccination to lift restrictions
Dr. Therea Tam is saying that Canada needs to achieve at least 75 percent vaccination for restrictions to be safely lifted this summer. That would represent about 28 million people in a country of 37 million. At present, somewhat more than ten million have received a first shot. The unknown is vaccine supply. The expectation however is that deliveries will continue and in fact increase.
