All children in Ontario will be back to the virtual classroom for an indefinite period as Ontario battles a growing third wave of infection. Premier Ford will have a further announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Matlow calls for beer, wine and cider in parks

Ward 12 Councillor Josh Matlow is calling for legalized drinking in City parks between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. from May 21 to October 31. The proposed pilot project would evidently ban hard liquor. Matlow contends those without private outdoor places to drink like backyards and balconies need such an opportunity in the park. It would be an interesting new job for the police. Canadian Press
