Police say a girl of 11 was approached by a man in a car near her home in the east end neighbourhood of Barrington Ave and Balfour Ave Friday afternoon. That’s near Main St and Danforth Ave. The child fled home as the man tried to entice her into his car. The man is described as older, with a heavy build.
