Bang, bang, bang Toronto — another weekend has begun

Police are scrambling to figure out the circumstances in which three people were shot on west-central Duncan St. near Adelaide St W shortly before dawn Saturday. Two women and a man were hit and he has been declared dead. A white car was seen fleeing the austere old brick buildings that line Duncan. For most of us, it’s merely a reminder that Toronto continues to endure levels of per capita gun violence that far exceed places like London, England, Sydney, and Tokyo.
