CGS has received news from the Terry Fox Foundation that the school ranked in the Ontario Top Ten of the Foundation’s “Top Fundraising Schools of 2021”. The CGS total was a whopping $16,550. The Foundation sent congratulations and sincere thanks for the continued commitment and support. CGS said Tuesday it is a privilege to share Terry’s story of courage and determination both as an individual and as a Canadian.

It extended congratulations to CGS Junior Kindergarten teacher, Sara Adamson for her dedication in coordinating all the CGS Terry Fox events. She has led the school’s campaign for 24 years. Thanks was expressed also to CGS staff and families for support of cancer research. Event plans are underway for CGS’ Terry Fox Run 2022.
