A Facebook post from Green Canoe (900 Millwood Rd.) has announced the sale of their business and expressed thanks to the community for all the support they have received over the years. They will still operate for another two weeks before handing over the reins to the new owners on May 29th. The announcement reads:
Hey! Firstly just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has continued to support us. Unfortunately we have sold the business and these next 2 weeks will be our last serving the Leaside community. Our last day will be Sunday May 29th and we hope to see you before we are gone. Thank you for all the amazing relationships we have made during our time here. It was a tough decision but we have decided to move on from the Green Canoe. We will be taking some much needed time for rest and reflection and will be posting in the nxt couple of days regarding the new owners and business taking over. Thank you Leaside and everyone else! 💚🛶💚
