Full-length vehicle testing started on Eglinton Crosstown

Full-length vehicles for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT are hitting the streets! The three-car testing began in early July, as part of project-wide testing. The aim is to not only debut the three-car trains, but also to test the signaling and train control system. During this phase of the project, the LRVs and train control system run together from end-to-end.     • Same thing that happens at Yonge and Bloor or Yonge and Sheppard. Hopefully there will be lots of escalators/stairs to connect the two lines.
