The Bayview Pixies Earth Day seed giveaway, Apr 20 2024. /Bayview Pixies
On Saturday, April 20th, 2024, the Bayview Pixies hosted a seed giveaway to celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd). They were stationed outside of Epi Breads at Bayview & Millwood and gave out approximately 175 seed packs (that’s 4,000 potential plants). If only a quarter of them grow, then they will have added 1,000 native plants to the neighbourhood! That’s something!
They plan on doing another seed giveaway during the Bayview-Leaside BIA AppleFest (Saturday, October 19, 2024). Looking forward to it!
