Traffic engineers may have the secret of this crash-ridden corner. It was this way before LRT backups too. Some suggest it is the multiple rights-of-way residing with pedestrians, Bayview traffic and finally east-west traffic. Who knows. This took place Monday.

New Costco confirms to The Bulldog it will carry groceries
by •
The South Bayview Bulldog has been told authoritatively that the Costco store soon to open on Overlea Blvd will carry groceries. It is also understood there will be a limited offering of Halal meat. Recent hours have seen Facebook postings from people who were apparently told by personnel at the site that the store will not be selling food. In email Monday a reliable source within the companies associated with Costco said “rest assured there will be food. It will be like all other Costcos with the exception of the gas bar of course.” The City negotiated an arrangement with Costco to build this store without a gas bar. In 2016, Iqbal Halal Foods on Thorncliffe Park Drive had objected to the OMB about the Costco. It later withdrew this objection after negotiations with Costco. The store is set to open sometime this summer.

The alien world of animosity between the US and Canada (Trump’s war) and the social media mischief of Vladimir Putin are explored in these videos. The implications of a trade war with the US should sober Canadians. In the end, we face an opponent, if it comes to that, ten times our size. Not a winning match-up. Russia, on the other hand, may try to influence the 2019 election it is said and that might take the form of making us dislike the US even more.
