The little convenience store that became a landmark at the corner of Roxborough Street and Avenue Rd. has been demolished. The store was closed a few months ago and although it was well known for its prominent location it isn’t clear whether it was much of a business.
Like all such little stores, it was struggling but it was the only “milk” store at that end of Macpherson. There is another just off Roxborough W. but the same stuff is also available at the Shell gas station at Yong and Macpherson. A new building with no store is gong up at the Macpherson Convenience site. The whole area is changing fast.
