Toronto Hydro says it has restored power to all 7,000 customers who went off grid about 6 a.m. Sunday. This appears to have occurred in stages beginning later in the afternoon. It also tweets that a final 470 customers in the “Edmund/Macpherson/PoplarPlains/Avenue area” were the last to be re-joined. Is this where the tree was? Just asking.
Thank you for restoring my power. I live in mid town and was affected. Can you clarify, please, the initial cause of the outage?
