Trump threat to end trade with China to stop North Korea

Donald Trump has tweeted a threat to cancel “all trade” with any country doing business with North Korea as the US throws everything short of war at nuclear adventurer Kim Jung un. Such a move would hit China’s economy like a hammer. It would not be easy in the US either, but the impact in Beijing would be near catastrophic. It seems both a sign of the Trump administration’s determination and desperation that it is discussing such an embargo. When asked about a preemptive attack yesterday Trump said only “We’ll see.”

CREATED BY SOVIET UNION, PROTECTED BY CHINA

Some say there is no living with North Korea because of the nature of its government. It is universally despised. In order to sustain the Kim family tyranny it must threaten the world and act illegally in a variety of ways. North Korea was created in 1945 by Stalin as his armies went about converting much of the world to Communism. During the Korean War, when the north invaded the south, Chinese dictator Mao Tse Tung saved the north as United Nations forces (including Canada) seemed set for total victory. Kim Jung un, grandson of Stalin’s puppet leader, owes his existence as a dictator to Stalin and to China, which has continued to protect the north.
