Business brisk at opening
Saturday morning (until 1 p.m.) saw the annual Manor Road United Church Rummage Sale at 240 Manor. This event has both fixed prices and items sold for whatever the buyer wishes. One transaction saw four excellent large coconut cookies go for three dollars. Cheap at twice the price. Team Manor veteran Susan was selling excellent choice varieties of cheese for charity as usual. Business was brisk shortly after the 10 a.m. opening.
