Woman survives being hit by truck on Yonge north of Bloor

Traffic was blocked on Yonge St. for a period Tuesday morning when a woman was reported to have been hit by a large dump truck exiting out of her parked car. Reports indicate she was breathing and it’s believed she is now recovering in hospital. The accident is a critical reminder for pedestrians and motorists as the winter season approaches and early evening darkness descends on the City. Global

  1. The car was not parked the vehicle cut in front of the truck the driver did not see the car she exited her vehicle where she was pinned between the door in the car. I wish people would get the story correct automatically people blame the truck driver trucks have a wicked blind spot usually on the passenger side the female subsequently suffered a broken leg and bruised pelvis
