Friday’s grim C-19 count is 1,855 with nearly 500 in Toronto

The Ministry of Health reports a grim 1,855 new cases of C-19 Friday after performing a record 58,000 tests. More tests, more cases are a pretty clear sign that no one really knows how badly our communities are being hit by the insidious disease. Of the new cases confirmed on Friday, more than half involved residents in either Toronto (494 new cases) or Peel (517). Meanwhile, York had 189 new cases, Halton had 130, Durham had 65 and Hamilton had 82.
