The Leaside Garden Society is continuing its Speaker Series with special guest David Chapman hosting the on-line Zoom meeting, “Wild, Weird & Wacky Weather!” on October 13th at 7p.m.
David’s photographic and video presentations are extraordinary. You will see some of the most beautiful collections of thunderstorms, northern lights and other weather phenomena found in Southern Ontario. In a province that is so vast and surrounded by the Great Lakes, it is no wonder we have some of the most interesting weather in the world. Discover how far south the Aurora Borealis can actually be seen. The presentation combines Ontario’s weather uniqueness, power and beauty all wrapped into one, they will also cover some other aspects of climate change and the effects on gardening.
